This teacher training course runs over 16 modules with 30 days, 180 contact hours and an additional 20 non-contact hours, comprising a 200-hour therapy module.

Experiential learning with therapy sequences, eight limbs of yoga, asana modifications combined with an introduction to Ayurveda, the medicine sister of yoga, the endocrine system, a study of common conditions, joints, modifications, prohibitions, precautions, pranayama and meditation together with mindful movement. Your principal teacher:
Christine is a yoga therapist (PG Dip IYT) with additional specialist training in Ayurveda and Mindfulness. She is CNHC registered and accredited by The British Council for Yoga Therapy. She is a Yoga Alliance Professionals Senior Teacher, a Yoga Alliance Professionals Certified Trainer and a British Wheel of Yoga Teacher. She is also a registered teacher for the Lower Healthy Backs Programme and a trained teacher of Yoga for Cancer, a Reiki Teacher and Oriental Remedial Therapist. She’s also experienced pain! She incorporates her journey of learning that has taken her on many paths, many teachers and many yoga traditions into her yoga therapy training.

The 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Programme with a Yoga Therapy Focus is a comprehensive, accredited, yoga therapy course for anyone interested in yoga teacher training and yoga therapy with its practical application together with a look at yoga as a medicine and yoga’s sister science, Ayurveda.
Suitable also for yoga practitioners and health and body work professionals.
This course can be for yourself or to use as a professional accredited training qualification to work with others.
The course runs over 30 days with additional, practical interim practice assignments.
The course is practically based with sequences and practical asana/pranayama yoga therapy throughout. There is also the opportunity to plan and teach within the course.
This is a practical, experiential programme with sequence practices throughout – an immersion in yoga therapy.

Anyone without yoga experience is asked to complete 40 hours yoga practice either before or during this training module.
Students will be required to complete observational diaries at home, between modules and to practise different yoga therapy sequences as part of their non-contact hours.
Students will also be required to write a class plan.
There will be observational class assessments when students will be given the opportunity to lead yoga therapy practices.

Students should attend 90% of the course. Should the student miss a day/module, they will need to agree with the teacher when to catch up. The trainer reserves the right to charge additional fees for any catch-up time.
Students may be able to attend a missed day on another course, subject to availability.
This yoga teacher training programme is accredited by Yoga Alliance Professionals.

This is a practically orientated programme with immersion in poses, sequences, pranayama and relaxation to benefit the whole body/mind.
