This teacher only event offers an introduction to back care through yoga. Learn how to begin to bring backs to balance in the yoga class and beyond, safeguarding back health through a modern approach to ancient healing wisdom.
An overview of the back from an eastern perspective and an outline of some common back conditions.
Practical back pain relieving poses and sequences together with yoga modifications, breathwork and relaxation will give you some invaluable back health management tools to bring to your yoga classes as well as everyday life and other sporting activities.
At the end of this workshop you will:
- have experienced back relieving poses and sequences for back healthcare;
- be confident to incorporate what you learn into your yoga and yoga teaching, facilitating gradual improvement in your own and students' back health.
Christine attended her first ever yoga class when she was sixteen year old and has been practising yoga regularly since she was twenty-two. Christine was always fascinated by the benefits of yoga and individual poses. It wasn't until she had children that everything came together and she completed her first teacher training course. This marked the start of a very wonderful journey which still continues. We never stop learning! Everyone is so different and Christine loves to see how yoga can adapt to everybody.
